For some reason, this piece has always reminded me of my great-grandfather and his tasty rocks. He always had a bowl of very realistic looking rock candy for my brothers and I. Something about pretending I was chewing on a real rock tickled my fancy. Making beautiful fun art out of the unexpected also tickles my fancy.
